Who can qualify for the discover credit card grants?

These $25k grants will be issued to 200 struggling black restaurant owners. Discover is excited to be apart of a social movement to help a group that are at an economic disadvantage.

What are the rules to get the discover credit card grants?

A wide range of places beyond a typical sit-down establishment are eligible to win including food trucks, ice cream parlors, bakeries and coffee shops. Anyone can make up to five nominations per platform and you do not have to be a Discover cardholder to cast your vote. In order for a restaurant to qualify it must be at least 50% Black-owned and located in the U.S. A business does not need to be a Discover merchant to be eligible to win.

How do I enter the $25k discover credit card grants?

Nominations can be made on the following social media platforms:

• Twitter: Tweet and mention the restaurant’s name and @Discover, #EatItForward and #Sweepstakes.
• Facebook: Nominate a restaurant by tagging them in the comments section of a post where Discover is asking for nominations related to the $5 million commitment to Black-owned restaurant program.
• Instagram: Upload a photo taken by a user that is related to the nominated restaurant and tag @Discover, #EatItForward, #Sweepstakes and @ mention the restaurant’s Instagram account or restaurant name within the photo caption.

Do I need to have a credit card to get the $25k discover credit card grants?
